are cherished for their quality, their history, their function, nostalgia,
rarity, craftsmanship, and a lot more besides. In short, this site is
dedicated to tools that were built to last, with precision, pride, and care.
No wonder old tools feel better!
To give you background on how this website came to exist, you
will need to know about Barry. He’s the man behind Old Tools Feel Better and he
has been a keen collector of antique tools for a long while.
Barry regards all the tools with thought and dignity, whether they’re
Preston planes, 19th Century axes, or folding rules, they have all been
restored to a fine condition with the policy in mind of conserving
original features as opposed to replacing. His collection of tools is
massive, and what you see here is just a small selection. In order not to
overwhelm the site with everything at once, and because items are
constantly coming in we will update the tool list weekly. That means,
each week a new selection will be displayed for sale, and, if any of the
previous week's stock still remains it will placed in the back catalogue. In this
way the website stays permanently active and fresh.
Ordering
and payment is performed on a personal level, simply reserve your chosen products
and leave the rest to us. To learn more about payment and shipping visit the
